Annie Alder
Client Services Director, DeKalb County Animal Services
Annie Alder is a lifelong animal-lover and advocate. After graduating from Georgia State University, she spent ten years supporting a variety of organizations in business administration and human resources. When Annie encountered Atlanta’s homeless pet crisis firsthand in 2016, she was inspired to volunteer at LifeLine’s DeKalb location. She quickly realized her passion for animal welfare and her desire to do more.
Since joining LifeLine in 2017, Annie has held numerous leadership roles. She currently serves as Client Services Director at DeKalb County Animal Services. And over the last four years, Annie helped DCAS reach no-kill status through the development and management of lifesaving programs. Empathy and compassion for both animals and people are the driving forces behind her work.
Annie lives in East Atlanta with her partner and four occasionally-misbehaved dogs: Clementine, Ladybird, Rugby and Cash. She feels fortunate to be a part of the LifeLife team and its ongoing mission to save lives.
