Andrea Peterson
Chief Operating Officer
Andrea Peterson has worked in animal welfare for over 16 years and over 13 years working in a leadership capacity. And, she specializes in shelter and programmatic operations, as well as developing leadership within the organization.
Andrea empowers her teams to be successful in their roles and outcomes. Also, she has an extensive community outreach and engagement background. Since joining the LifeLine family in 2017, Andrea was instrumental in developing and growing the Pets for Life program. She helped bring the organization to their first successful year of a 90%+ save rate at both county shelters. In addition, she has helped the organization care for the largest number of animals in LifeLine’s history.
Andrea is a proud mother of one goofy dog, one lovebug of a cat and two guinea pigs. She is excited to work with our amazing teams to help save even more lives in the Atlanta community.
