HURRICANE HELENE SPECIAL HOURS:

All LifeLine shelters will be closing earlier on Thursday, 9/26, at 4pm. The LifeLine Community Animal Center will reopen at 11am and our Fulton County and DeKalb County shelters will reopen at 1pm on Friday, 9/27. All shelters will resume normal hours on Saturday, 9/28, barring any complications from the storm.

We appreciate your interest in supporting LifeLine through in-kind donations! Help pets in the shelter receive enrichment, remain active and thrive by purchasing needed items from our wishlist. We hope you might also consider making a cash donation that will enable us to meet the needs of the tens of thousands of pets we care for each year in our shelters and community.

Frequently Asked Questions

We accept most pet food and supplies, medication, blankets and towels, common household items, and toys. We cannot accept food or medication that’s expired or not in its original packaging. We also cannot accept bulky items like comforters, pillows or similar decor. A comprehensive list can be found further down this page.

Donations are accepted at all LifeLine locations 7 days a week during business hours. Please refer to our contact page for open hours at each shelter.

We are unable to pick up donations for smaller In Person items, but we encourage you to connect with neighbors or LifeLine volunteers on social media to help with transport.

For larger or specialty items, please contact our team to discuss.

Yes, all locations can provide a receipt upon request.

Our Fulton County Animal Services shelter is accepting Kuranda ShelterBed donations for the pets in our care.
