LifeLine’s veterinary technicians (vet techs) play a crucial role in the medical services that we provide to over 40,000 pets within our shelters and the community every single year. And this week is vet tech appreciation week! We’re taking a quick moment to thank our vet techs for everything that they do for Atlanta’s animals.
A Day in the Life
Our vet techs have an important list of responsibilities that they carry out each and every day. Their daily routine includes preparing pets for spay/neuter surgery, administering medication and vaccinations to dogs and cats and assisting foster parents who have vet appointments for their foster pets. But their day can include so much more. This vet tech appreciation week, we want to especially acknowledge all their hard work!
Lifeline vet techs are HEROES. Thank you for doing an amazing job keeping Atlanta’s shelter pets healthy and safe and getting them ready for their forever homes!
