Hundreds expected to benefit from free pet vaccines and microchips while supplies last

ATLANTA, GA – (March 19 , 2024) LifeLine Animal Project, which manages operations at both the Fulton and DeKalb animal shelters, is excited to announce that this spring’s “Healthy Pets Fulton” will be held at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church (534 Fairburn Rd NW) on Saturday, March 23 from 10am-to 2pm; “Healthy Pets DeKalb” will be held at Honeysuckle Park (3037 Pleasant Valley Dr) on Saturday, April 13 from 10am-2pm.

LifeLine Animal Project is delighted to be the recipient of a Banfield Foundation grant which will cover the cost of rabies vaccines and microchips at all Healthy Pets events in 2024. Banfield Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is the charitable arm of Banfield Pet Hospital.

In addition to free pet vaccines and microchips, families can receive free spay/neuter vouchers, pet food, pet supplies and more on a first-come, first-served basis and while supplies last. In 2023, LifeLine helped more than 1929 pets with free services and pet education.

Banfield Foundation has been a tremendous partner in helping make preventative care possible for pets who need it most. Together, the Banfield Foundation and LifeLine are committed to supporting underserved communities and working to keep pets in homes where they belong.

Other Healthy Pets partners include Fulton County Commissioner Khadejiah Abdur-Rahman and Petco Love, who sponsored the DHPP/FVRCP vaccines.
