All Metro Atlanta shelters offering $25 adoptions through Dec 24
ATLANTA, GA – (December 18, 2024) Get ready for one of the best pet adoption events of the season and one that will have you smiling all the way through the new year!
From December 15-24, you can adopt a pet from any LifeLine Animal Project shelter for just $25. TheUnbox Love event is being sponsored by Petco Love, a national nonprofit that improves the lives of pets and their people.
Meet your new best friend and make every moment merrier this holiday season by saving lives. In addition to waiving all adoption fees, your new furry friend will be vaccinated, micro chipped, spayed or neutered at no additional costs. That’s a lifesaving deal worth over $300!
This will be one of your last opportunities to help LifeLine find homes for hundreds of shelter animals before the end of the year. The deal applies to all LifeLine shelter locations including Fulton County Animal Services (1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd), DeKalb County Animal Services (3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd), and the Community Animal Center (3180 Presidential Drive).
In addition, and in keeping with the spirit of giving this holiday season, LifeLine Board Chair, and Anisa International CEO, Anisa Telwar Kaicker has generously donated $50,000 in matching funds to LifeLine’s lifesaving mission. This means, in December, your gift is doubled and twice as many pets will be helped with your donation.
This year has been one of the most challenging in LifeLine’s 22-year history. The number of animals coming into the shelters nearly doubled this summer and so has the amount of time animals are spending in the shelter. With unprecedented numbers of pets in the shelters, the strain on the animals, teams, volunteers and budget has been harder than ever before.
“I hope that Atlantans recognize the impact they can have with a donation to support the animals at LifeLine Animal Project,” said Kaicker. “I am so proud of the lifesaving work the organization does to keep people and pets together and to help so many pets find homes.”
