LifeLine Animal Project Hosts FREE Healthy Pets Events in Metro Atlanta

Offering Free Veterinary Services, Vaccines and More in Two Fun-Filled, Family Friendly Outdoor Clinics

ATLANTA, GA – (May 4, 2023)  To help pet owners who may be facing economic challenges start the busy spring season off on a positive note, LifeLine Animal Project will be holding “Healthy Pets DeKalb” on Saturday, May 6, at Honeysuckle Park, 3037 Pleasant Valley Drive, Doraville, GA 30340 and “Healthy Pets Fulton” on Saturday, May 13 at Westside Reservoir Park, 1660 Johnson Rd NW (Parking Lot 1),  Atlanta, GA 30318

LifeLine will provide free vaccinations for pets provided by veterinarians, free spay/neuter vouchers to use at LifeLine’s clinics, microchipping, pet registration, dog and cat food, collars and leashes, and more! Both events will take place from 10 am to 2 pm, and no registration is necessary for these first-come, first-served events.

LifeLine is partnering with Doraville Councilmember Warren Simmons and

Fulton County Commissioner Khadejiah Abdur-Rahman to make this spring’s Healthy Pets events even bigger and better than years past.  In addition to providing free vaccinations and microchipping for pets, vouchers for spay/neuter, and pet supplies, there will also be food, entertainment, and much more!

LifeLine helped more than 1000 pet owners during the last pair of Healthy Pets clinics, which took place this past fall.  Our goal is to provide needed resources to animals and families who may be struggling through challenging economic times.

“We know that many families are still struggling,” says LifeLine CEO Rebecca Guinn. “ We aim to ease the financial burden often associated with keeping pets healthy. That’s why we are here, to keep people and pets together.”
