LifeLine Animal Project Joins Forces with Petco Love to Help Clear the Shelters Black Friday Weekend
Urges Atlanta to adopt, not shop, ahead of the new shelter opening
ATLANTA, GA — (November 21, 2023) As millions of consumers prepare to clean up on pre-holiday deals this Black Friday, LifeLine Animal Project is urging you to consider giving the gift of a second chance to a deserving pet in need.
From Friday, November 24 through Monday, November 27, you can adopt an animal from any LifeLine shelter, free of charge. That includes Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) at 860 Marietta Blvd NW and LifeLine Midtown at 981 Howell Mill Road, which will both be closing soon in preparation for the grand opening of the brand new Fulton County shelter at 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd NW on December 2nd.
Thanks to an ongoing partnership with Petco Love, all pets adopted from LifeLine shelters will have their adoption fees sponsored. All pets will be microchipped, vaccinated and spayed or neutered for free! That’s a savings of more than $300, making it the best and most meaningful Black Friday deal of the season.
“The opening of our new shelter further demonstrates Atlanta’s commitment to helping save as many animals as we can,” says LifeLine Animal Project Spokesperson Tiki Artist. “We want to begin our new journey in this new facility by making sure that every pet has a loving place to call home. That is the greatest gift that we can give them.”
Currently, 75 dogs are being housed at LifeLine Midtown and nearly 300 at FCAS. The Black Friday Clear the Shelter event will be your last weekend to adopt from these two Fulton County shelters before the new one opens in December.
