 If you need help with your pet, you have come to the right place. Whatever your situation, LifeLine strives to keep pets safe and with the people who love them. Did you find or lose a pet? Does your dog have behavior challenges? Does your cat have special medical needs? LifeLine can provide you with resources and assistance.
Free pet food is available for dogs and cats of DeKalb County residents every fourth Friday of the month at the DeKalb County Animal Services shelter (3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.) This is a first-come, first-served event from 12pm to 2pm, rain or shine.
Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends (AARF) operates a pet food pantry for residents in need living in 30021, 30052, 30083, 30084, 30087, and 30088 zip codes. Applications for pet food assistance can be submitted online, by email, or by phone call.
This tool can put you in touch with pet pantries and other organizations near you that offer financially friendly resources for pet food and supplies.
Is it the mission of Pets Are Loving Support, Inc. (PALS) to provide ongoing care and support to the pets of Atlanta-area persons living with disabilities due to HIV/AIDS and terminal illnesses, and the elderly.
Paws provides pet food to families in need in an effort to keep pets and people together. The Pet Food Bank is available to community members daily on a walk-in basis.
Pet Buddies is an outreach organization that provides spay and neuter sponsorship, temporary pet food and supplies to struggling pet owners, older people, people with disabilities, veterans, medically fragile individuals, and people experiencing homelessness.
Our Community Animal Center clinic offers full-service, affordable veterinary care, including vaccines, dental care, surgery and more. The Fulton County Animal Services Veterinary Clinic offers yearly pet exams, vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick preventatives. Book an appointment today.
DeKalb County and LifeLine Animal Project are partnering to provide free veterinary care and resources to pets of DeKalb County residents. Free health exams, vaccines, microchipping, spay/neuter surgeries, and pet food bank are available now for pets in need.
Fetch is dedicated to helping people and shelter pets adjust to their new lives together. Fetch provides comprehensive coverage for unexpected illnesses and injuries, as well as unique behavioral and medical needs.
The LifeLine Spay & Neuter Clinic provides low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgeries and has performed over 150,000 procedures.
In partnership with DeKalb County, LifeLine's Mobile Clinic offers FREE vaccines for DeKalb County residents who own cats or dogs and cannot afford to pay for low-cost clinic services. Free health exams and microchips are available, too! If you don't reside in DeKalb County, there are also low cost vaccine clinic dates scheduled each month for pet owners in need!
Our Pets for Life program provides free spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, licensing, supplies (leashes, collars, crates), veterinary care and pet resources for Fulton County residents living in these zip codes: 30310, 30311, 30314, 30315, 30318 or 30331.
SNIP (Spay Neuter Impact Program) offers FREE spay/neuter and vaccine services for DeKalb County residents who own cats or dogs and cannot afford to pay for low-cost spay/neuter services.
If you live outside of DeKalb County, check to see if free spay/neuter programs are offered in your county. If none exist in your county, SPOT may be able to help.
At Healthy Pets events, we provide free vaccinations, microchips, vouchers for free spay/neuter surgeries, pet supplies and much more for pets in DeKalb and Fulton County.
A microchip provides your pet with permanent ID that can be scanned by vet clinics and shelters for free to retrieve your contact information. We offer microchipping for only $25.Â

If you see animal cruelty, you may be the only voice for that animal. When you report animal cruelty or neglect, you may remain anonymous, and one less animal will continue to suffer. You may request county provided Field Services for dog bites, injured animals, dog or cock fighting, loose animals, welfare checks or license/rabies vaccination violations.

DeKalb County Animal Enforcement Services (DCAES) is managed by the DeKalb County Public Safety division. Officers are available after hours for emergencies only (animal cruelty, animal bites, etc.).
Our Community Cat Program offers Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance and discounted spay/neuter surgeries and vaccines to help community caretakers humanely manage community cat colonies.
If your pet has an unexpected illness or injury and you are unable to pay full-price for veterinary care, LifeLine may be able to help. The Stay Together Fund, which relies on donations from our community, is available in certain cases to help supplement the cost of pet care. Ask our team if you qualify at your next appointment in our clinics.
Our Home Free Program will help more pets get back home for FREE! If you’ve lost your pet and they are brought to the shelter for the first time, we will waive reclaim fees and any dog-at-large citation so you can quickly reclaim them at no cost!
Dogs on Deployment connects those in active duty, reservists, National Guard, veterans and first-responders with volunteers who will care for their pets while they have service commitments.
Pets for Patriots, a LifeLine partner, offers free memberships to U.S. veterans and provides members who adopt from LifeLine with a $150 pet gift card, discounts on vet care and pet supplies, as well as post-adoption follow up calls. LifeLine offers members free adoptions on eligible pets.
