Dr. Molly Urban
Veterinarian, Community Animal Center
Dr. Urban is originally from middle Georgia and graduated from Mercer University with degrees in both biology and music. She earned a master’s degree in veterinary biomedical sciences before graduating from Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Urban’s special interests include shelter & rescue medicine, access to veterinary care, and preservation of the Human-Animal Bond. Focusing on these avenues, Dr. Urban has co-authored numerous research publications centered around animal welfare in municipal shelters and accessibility to affordable veterinary care.
In her spare time, you can find Dr. Urban RVing through the mountains with her husband and 5 large-breed rescue dogs, hanging out on the water or in the garden, or playing video games.
