LifeLine’s Pets for Life (PFL) outreach program honors the love people have for their pets. We help keep people and their pets together by connecting them to resources and closing the gap that exists in impoverished areas, where people have little or no access to pet wellness resources.
Our PFL focus area includes seven Atlanta zip codes (30310, 30311, 30312, 30314, 30315, 30318 and 30331) where 38% of people live below the poverty line. PFL provides free pet food, free veterinary care, free pet supplies, free transportation, free behavior assistance and more to these communities with the goal of helping to keep pets with the people who love them.
With Pets for Life, LifeLine is providing free veterinary care, services and information to pets and people who otherwise have limited or nonexistent access to pet wellness resources. We’re transforming Animal Services into a community-driven resource toward a better quality of life for pets and the people who love them.
- Rebecca Guinn, LifeLine CEO
Whether we’re delivering free pet food to people who’ve been hit hard during the COVID-19 crisis, making free housecalls with our veterinary staff to pets who need medical care or keeping pets who are often outdoors warm with free dog houses and straw, our PFL program helps people and improves the lives of pets. You can make a difference in the lives of people and their pets by supporting our outreach efforts with a tax-deductible donation today.
You can also help us stock the Pets for Life pet pantry with critically needed supplies by donating through CUDDLY! Create a care package, select individual items or donate funds directly and quickly to our Pets for Life team as they work to support families most in need.
“I am very grateful for Pets for Life. They are helping me keep my Tyson happy and healthy. And Tyson is my family.”
– Belita, 20,000th PFL client
