
Marissa Reid
Clinic Director, LifeLine Animal Project
LIfeLine Clinic Director, Marissa Reid has over eight years of experience working with animals. She joined LifeLine’s College Park Spay & Neuter clinic in 2017 as the receptionist and moved to the former Avondale clinic in 2018. When the Community Animal Center (CAC) opened in 2019, Marissa became the Customer Service Manager for CAC’s veterinary clinic. She currently oversees operations for both the CAC clinic and the College Park Spay & Neuter clinic.
Marissa moved to Georgia in 2004, hailing from Warren, Ohio. She received her animal healthcare technician certification from Middle Georgia Technical College and her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Strayer University. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Guide Dog Foundation Program, where she trained dogs to work with blind people. Marissa lives in Decatur with her daughter, stepson, husband and father-in-law, and often a foster pet or two. When she isn’t at work, Marissa enjoys time with her family, reading and listening to podcasts.
