Lara Hudson is a graduate of the University of Florida with a BS in Agriculture. She has over 20 years of animal welfare experience. Lara joined LifeLine as the Director of Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) in 2013 and successfully led the shelter to achieving no-kill rates for the first time ever.
Lara works hard to ensure that animal abusers are prosecuted, and she focuses on improving the day-to-day operations of FCAS. She also enjoys building relationships with her high-performing teams to promote growth and talent within the organization. Likewise, she works closely with her shelter and field service teams to improve the lives of people and pets.
When she’s not at work, Lara enjoys hanging out with her eight-year-old son and their FCAS rescue dog, Elsa.
