Dr. Brittney Kilgore
Veterinarian, Community Animal Center
Dr. Kilgore was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Biological Sciences. She then moved to the Caribbean island of Grenada where she attended St. George’s University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. During her clinical rotations, she did an externship with Lifeline’s Community Animal Center and decided to make it her new home after graduation.
Dr. Kilgore’s interest is feline medicine and she is very passionate about reducing fear in the clinic, enrichment education, and being a cat advocate for Lifeline’s CAC. Dr. Kilgore is also veterinary acupuncture certified. She has special interests in alternative therapies, diet management, and behavioral consultations.
Dr. Kilgore has 2 beautiful cats of her own, Toulouse & Miso. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner, working out doing CrossFit, cooking, traveling, or spending time outdoors. She is passionate about teaching and encouraging the next generation of vets, being inclusive to other minorities and members of the LGBTQ+ community, and promoting wellness and active, healthy lifestyles in her animal patients.
