Hoarding Case Article

After firefighters extinguished a fire at a home in South Fulton county, LifeLine Animal Project's Fulton County Animal Services Officers were called in to rescue over 90 dogs from what appears to be a hoarding situation. The owner has surrendered the dogs, but the situation is still under investigation. The dogs are safe and will receive medical care and placement assessments over the next few days, and may go to rescue or be available for adoption based on those assessments. Here's how you can help:

Did you hear? We made a small, but significant change here at LifeLine Animal Project: we removed breed labels.

This decision wasn’t taken lightly. In fact, we researched study after study, talked to experts and relied on our partners for advice before finally deciding that this was the right move for us, for our animals and for our community.

DeKalb County Animal Services' foster pup, Winnie, took a road trip for the holidays and we followed along! From Georgia to Cincinnati, Winnie had a blast on her holiday adventures!

Richie came to us after a severe head trauma. Because of this injury, it causes him to walk or run in circles and can also cause him to have seizures. But with the proper medication and a little love, Richie spends his days just like any normal dog: romping around the yard and giving lots of kisses!
