Happy Endings

Milagro came into our DeKalb County Animal Services location in 2018. His fur was in poor condition and he desperately needed proper grooming. One year later, read what his adopter had to say about Milagro!

I adopted “Milagro”, now Gershwin, a year ago, in July 2018. I just wanted to send a quick note thanking you for my beautiful boy, and letting you know how well he’s doing. He’s gone from a skimpy 5 pounds, to a healthy 7. He is doing so well and is such a sweetheart. We adore him.

I wanted to share a couple photos for you and your staff to see the outcome of all your amazing hard work, and how worth it, it is. I also thought you might be able to use the photos in social media to show people they can rescue / adopt from the county animal shelter and get an adorable, perfect dog. The first picture was taken at your DeKalb County Animal Services shelter location the week I adopted him, in July 2018. The second picture was taken in March of this year, 9 months after adopting him.

"Thank you for all that you do for the animals that need it, in Dekalb County!"
