The LifeLine 2025 Calendar, “A Vibrant Atlanta”, is ON SALE NOW!
Adopt a pet from LifeLine today! Don’t buy a pet; our teams can help you find that friend you’ve been dreaming of right here in Atlanta’s shelters. When you adopt a pet from LifeLine, your pet is already spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped (a $200-value!). Your adoption fee helps fund our lifesaving mission to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable dogs and cats in Atlanta.
If you are having trouble viewing our adoptable pets widget above, please try viewing this page in a different browser, or clearing your cache. You can also view all our adoptable pets via this direct link.
We now offer FREE adoptions for all senior pets (7 years+) and long-stay dogs (100 days+). When you visit a LifeLine shelter, look for these promotional stickers on our kennel cards indicating an adoptable pet with a sponsored fee!
This program is a great opportunity to bring a pet home and ensure the pet is an excellent fit for your family! A trial adoption can last up to 30 days and you’ll receive support from our team throughout.
Avoid coming to the shelter and browse pets who are available for adoption and currently living in foster homes. Foster parents can provide helpful information about their foster pet to you.
Sometimes situations change and loved pets need to find new homes. You can adopt a pet directly from their current guardians, preventing them from ever spending a night in an animal shelter.
LifeLine supports our U.S. military veterans by partnering with Pets for Patriots to help them adopt a new pet for free. Every Pets for Patriots member receives a fee-waived adoption, a pet gift card, discounts on pet care and so much more.
Your donations helps us shelter and care for over 16,000 shelter animals every year.
