Save twice the lives with all donations doubled through December 31
ATLANTA (November 30, 2017) – With Thanksgiving over and December a day away, LifeLine Animal Project is already feeling the spirit of generosity this holiday season as Anisa Telwar Kaicker, along with her team at Anisa International, pledges to support the organization with matching holiday donations. For the sixth consecutive year, Anisa will match every dollar donated – up to $50,000 – through December 31, 2017.
“Anisa International’s matching grant plays a crucial role in supporting our mission to save every healthy and treatable animal in our care,” said Rebecca Guinn, CEO of LifeLine Animal Project. “We are so grateful that Anisa and her team support and share our vision to make Atlanta a lifesaving community for homeless pets.”
LifeLine Animal Project, Atlanta's leading non-profit animal welfare organization, was founded in 2002 with the mission to end the shelter euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals. Since taking over management of both the DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services shelters in 2013, they have increased adoptions by over 300 percent. Additionally, they’ve performed over 105,000 low-cost or free spay and neuter surgeries, provide services to over 30,000 pets each year and offer free veterinary care and other resources to pets of people who need them most.
Anisa International, a global leader in the design and creation of unique beauty tools and solutions, recognizes LifeLine’s impact on the Metro Atlanta area and is proud to be a committed partner in their fight to make Atlanta a no-kill community.
“Our involvement with LifeLine Animal Project is something that is very near and dear to my heart and I’m proud to continue our support by matching their holiday donations,” said Anisa Telwar Kaicker, CEO and Founder of Anisa International and Chair of the LifeLine Board of Directors. “I encourage all Atlantans and animal lovers to consider giving back to this incredible organization this holiday season.”
LifeLine not only cares for the animals in the shelters but they place a great emphasis on serving communities in need through the LifeLine Spay & Neuter Clinics and various outreach programs. Their newest program, Pets for Life, focuses on a door-to-door approach of building relationships to help improve the standard of care for animals and to help bridge the resource gap for communities in need.
