Weekend Warriors

Weekend Warriors Program Header

From coffee shops to breweries to scenic hikes, you already love exploring the best parts of Atlanta. Why not spend your weekend exploring Atlanta with a shelter pup by your side!

No matter what you're doing this weekend, you can take a shelter pup along with you! We have hundreds of dogs in our care who would love to get out of the shelter for the weekend and crash at your place. From dog-friendly patios, to hiking in the North Georgia Mountains, to spending the weekend binge-watching Netflix, our pups benefit greatly when they take a break from the shelter.

Who: The dogs eligible for this program are medium to large sized pups who have been with us for three months or longer.

Timing: You will need to at least be able to commit to four days: pick up on Friday and drop off on Monday. You are more than welcome to keep the dog as long as you'd like after that.

Details: We'll provide you with a crate and food for the weekend; you just provide the love!

How: Fill out our short form below to get started! Please give our foster coordinators at least 72 hours to respond.
