ATLANTA, GA – (September 4, 2018)  In an effort to increase adoptions for the 1200 homeless animals in their care, LifeLine Animal Project is rolling out free adoptions on hundreds of pets through their “Treat Yourself” adoption campaign throughout the month of September!  These special pets are already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to leave the shelter today!  The promotion encourages people to treat themselves to a lifetime of love by adopting a shelter pet today.

According to LifeLine Chief Marketing Officer Heather Friedman, treating yourself to the gift of pet adoption can reap life-changing rewards. During the summer months, we experience an influx of pets filling our shelters. It's the perfect time to remind everyone that adopting a pet not only saves a life, but it fills human lives with unpredictable joy and unconditional love as well.”

LifeLine shelters participating in the promotion include:

LifeLine Dog House & Kitty Motel, 129 Lake Street, Avondale Estates,

LifeLine Cat Adoption Center, 3172 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Scottdale,

DeKalb County Animal Services, 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Chamblee

Fulton County Animal Services, 860 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta
