We are overjoyed to share that our DeKalb location

We are overjoyed to share that our DeKalb location was able to help Bluey, Bingo, Clifford, Eloise, Peppa Pig, Shaun the Sheep, and Corduroy, who were discovered abandoned in a park. These newborn pups needed our help, and our community rallied together to ensure they had a chance at a better life. We were fortunate enough to find a rescue in Maryland willing to take them in. But, we knew we would need help getting them there.

Our good friends at Pilots N Paws stepped in to help both DeKalb and CAC locations.

From our Community Animal Center location, they helped Tweelie, a special needs pup, who captured our hearts with his sweet nature. They flew these precious pups first-class to their new destinations, giving them the care and attention they deserve.

These stories are a testament to the power of kindness and compassion, and we're honored to be a part of this community that truly cares for its animals.

Here’s a recap of our paw-some day Saturday at LifeLine's Healthy Pets DeKalb Event! A total of 1263 pets were helped, a new record for us! We want to thank our generous partners @petcolove, @banfieldfoundation, @commissionerpatrickd1, and the @cityofdoravillega!

From vaccines to spay/neuter vouchers and microchips, together we provided over $215K worth of veterinary services. Join us at our future events! Keep wagging those tails and spreading pet wellness throughout our community!

Can you help this big pup find a dog house? Our Pets For Life client, Marcus, needs your help! His beloved Bull Mastiff, Tigger, has outgrown his current dog house, and we're searching for an XXL one to accommodate his size.

Marcus, recovering from a severe illness, is unable to work, making it difficult to build a new house for Tigger. We're reaching out to our community for support.

Can you or someone you know donate a XXL dog house or help with a custom-built dog house to help Marcus provide a comfortable shelter for Tigger?

Any assistance would mean the world to them. Tigger's measurements are 5 ft length x 24 in width x 32 in height and he's hoping for a spacious and cozy dog house to lay comfortably in!

We've been seeing a surge in adorable puppies at our shelter lately, sometimes even multiple litters arriving in a single day. Being an open-admission shelter, we never turn away animals in need. Currently, our DeKalb facility is bustling with 527 dogs, and space is getting tight with all the mother dogs and their litters.

The latest addition to our shelter family is Rhubarb and her five adorable puppies. Finding a foster home for them would bring us closer to our goal of reaching a population of 493 dogs by tomorrow. If you're interested in providing a loving home for them.
