Happy Endings

savant 1

Savant was born with a defective mitral valve, meaning she would require life-long cardiac monitoring and medication. Because of her medical issues, she was passed over time and time again and spent months in our shelter. But her life changed forever the day a wonderful family decided to foster her and give her a much-needed break from the shelter life.

That didn't last long, however, because they fell madly in love and eventally adopted her! They realized that even with a defective valve, she was perfect!
