The Animal Farm Foundation flew down to Atlanta today to visit our Fulton County Animal Services location! Animal Farm Foundation "dedicates their resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs."Blog Post 4

And when they came down to Atlanta - they did just that! Animal Farm Foundation temperament-tested hundreds of our dogs for their rescue. And they selected twenty of our wonderful dogs, of all sizes, ages and breeds, many of which had a big blocky head!

We are so thankful to the Animal Farm Foundation for rescuing so many of our precious pups! We will be transporting them up to their facility in New York as soon as possible! You can follow their journey on the Animal Farm Foundation Facebook page.

Getting these dogs ready for transport and sending them up to New York will take a lot of work from our rescue team. You can support efforts like these by making a donation today!
