Summers in Atlanta are perfect for hiking the North Georgia Mountains or going on a stroll through Sweetwater Creek State Park! But there's nothing better than hiking on a gorgeous day with your new best friend! We've put together our favorite hiking ready pups - even if your idea of hiking is just a bar crawl through Atlanta - these guys would love to tag along!

Spade brings the party! This big guy keeps a smile on his face and is always ready to romp around. He loves meeting new friends and is hopeful his day is near to leave the shelter for good. Meet Spade at our Fulton County Animal Services location!

Sphinn is a happy-go-lucky guy who loves to run around the play yard and give big, slobbery kisses! He would do well in an active household or as a hiking buddy! He has done well with other dogs in our care and would probably enjoy a playmate in the house. Meet Sphinn at our LifeLine Dog House and Kitty Motel!

Jerry Lee

With his floppy ears, Jerry Lee is listening intently and waiting for you to say "I want to adopt him." This handsome green-eyed boy is active but also calm. He likes to rest his front paws in your lap while you brush his coat. Meet Jerry Lee at LifeLine's DeKalb Animal Services!

Larry is a very special boy to many of our staff and volunteers. He enjoys belly rubs, rolling around in the grass, and going for walks. Larry gets along with most other dogs and doesn't seem to be too interested in cats. Meet Larry at our Fulton County Animal Services location!

Ginger has never met a person she didn't love! This cheerful gal would love to join you for brunch on the patio, on trips to the park, and any place where there are people for her to say hi to! She gets along great with other dogs too here at the shelter. Meet Ginger at LifeLine's DeKalb Animal Services!
