A wonderful group of LifeLine supporters came up with a great idea to raise thousands of dollars for homeless pets!
Can you imagine riding your bike for ten hours straight? We can’t, but we’re grateful for a determined group of LifeLine supporters who did! On January 31, over a dozen cyclists affiliated with Energy Lab, an Atlanta-based training studio for cycling and triathlon enthusiasts, rode for ten intensive hours while following back-to-back cycling training videos designed by a company called Sufferfest.
Their goal? To reach “Knight of Sufferlandria” status by completing the ten hours of riding and to raise ten thousand dollars in support for LifeLine and our no-kill vision.
Longtime LifeLine supporters Bethany and John Rutledge came up with this idea which “combines two things we love—crazy athletic challenges and helping animals.”
We send our congratulations to our friends on earning “Knighthood” status and our endless thanks for this generous and creative way they raised over ten thousand dollars to support LifeLine! To read more about their event, visit teamcrossman.com.
